TODAY: TMVOA Member Social
Join your fellow TMVOA members today (7/25) from 4-6 p.m. for our Summer Member Social at the Mountain Lodge (457 MV Blvd). To avoid vehicle congestion at the Lodge, please either take Dial-a-Ride or park your vehicle at the gondola parking garage and take the short walk to the Mountain Lodge.

After the social, the fun continues in Sunset Plaza with a concert from 6-8 pm featuring Gavin Turek. See you there!

Subarea Initiatives & Open House
TMVOA, the Town of MV, and TSG through a collaborative effort are excited to announce that there will be an Open House on Thurs, Aug 9, to update the community on the ongoing subarea planning initiatives. The Open House will be held at Town Hall from 12pm-6pm, with professional planners from AECOM and members from the subarea committee present to engage with TMVOA members and the public about both the Town Hall and Village Center subareas.

Please plan to attend – your participation and input are needed.

Background
As a reminder, in 2016 the Town of MV, TMVOA, and TSG in a collaborative effort formed a committee to carefully evaluate and engage a public process to determine the most appropriate uses for the Town Hall Subarea (THS). In June 2017, after an 18-month effort that included several public work-sessions, Town Council unanimously approved an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to replace the THS chapter. In the second half of 2017, the committee began discussing the Village Center Subarea (VCS) and ways to implement the existing Comp Plan actions for this subarea. The committee updated Council in October 2017 and identified 3 categories to help organize focus and objectives: Vibrancy & Activation, Infrastructure, and Undeveloped Parcels.
