What’s Going on in Mountain Village

Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association (“TMVOA”) is proud to sponsor numerous events in Mountain Village to further enhance our sense of community and offer residents and guests a wide variety of activities and vibrancy. Check out this video of our exciting town and please visit our events calendar often to find out what TMVOA is doing and what’s going on in the Mountain Village community!

Music in the Core

Telluride’s own local talent is featured in Heritage Plaza, Village Pond Plaza and Sunset Plaza weekly. Days and times vary but generally are from 2-4pm and 5-7pm. Come on out and linger a bit or grab a bite and a common consumption beverage at one of the nearby, outside restaurant patios and enjoy sounds from our talented local musicians! Summer 2020 Line-Up.

Market on the Plaza – Sponsored by the Town of Mountain Village

Market on the Plaza is a vibrant local community market providing an avenue to support regional and local businesses that offer homegrown food and homemade products. The Market runs every Wednesday beginning mid-June through mid-August from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patrons can expect the basics: farm produce, including eggs, fruits and vegetables, goat milk and cheeses, jams and marmalades, and garden herbs and oils.

Holiday Prelude

In non-COVID times, Mountain Village is transformed into the North Pole for the Holiday Prelude celebration held in mid-December every year. Holiday Prelude is a collaborative effort between Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association, Town of Mountain Village, Telluride Ski & Golf Company, and local merchants to transform Mountain Village into the regional destination for holiday fun and activities to include holiday movies, train rides, Santa and his workshop, live reindeer, ice skating and children’s holiday surprises around every corner.

Sadly, we have decided to forgo most 2020 Mountain Village Holiday Prelude events in the interest of Public Safety. Our focus has turned towards encouraging our residents and visitors to shop locally from Thanksgiving through December. Visit the Telluride Tourism Board’s website for more details on Merchant specials.

Help us ring in the New Year with a fantastic display of fireworks view-able from locations throughout Mountain Village Core. Fireworks coincide with a torchlight parade and are held at 7pm so the young ones can join in the fun!
