TODAY & TOMORROW: Temporary Gondola Closures
The gondola main line connecting the Towns of Telluride and Mountain Village will have temporary closures today and tomorrow for TSG’s on-going Oak Street Pump House project. However, the gondola between Mountain Village Gondola Plaza (Core) to/from San Sophia is unaffected and will operate as usual, 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Closures from San Sophia to Telluride are:
Mon., Sept 11
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tues., Sept 12
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (if needed)
During the closures, the Mountain Village Transportation Department and the Town of Telluride will provide bus service to supplement Gondola service to run until the mainline reopens. Pick-up and drop-off locations include the San Miguel County Courthouse and Mountain Village Town Hall; buses will run approximately every 15 minutes.
