Village Market – Picture Update
In TMVOA’s 9/16 member communication, we announced that the market in MV would be transitioned to a new operator (The Village Market) after a comprehensive renovation and remodel. Since then, the previous tenant’s last day in the building was 9/30 and was immediately followed with crews beginning demolition of the interior the very next day.

While progress on the renovation is taking place every day, we thought it important for TMVOA members to be able to view the evolution of the new grocery market and Town Hall building exterior. This first 13-page update highlights pictures of the renovation from the first day of demolition through 11/7. We will be putting another picture update out in the coming weeks.

Internet Upgrade & Network Redundancy
The Town of MV announced yesterday (11/21) in a press release that its internet connection has been successfully upgraded in partnership with Mammoth Networks. The upgrade provides for internet redundancy, meaning that the internet is fed to MV from both the south (from Albuquerque via Durango) and from the north (from Denver via Montrose). This redundant connection will prevent the Town from significant outages as there are now two sources of connectivity.

Town of Telluride
On Nov 5, Town of Telluride election results for Mayor and two Town Council Seats were announced. In the Mayor election, DeLanie Young received 53% of the votes, making her the new Mayor of Telluride. In the Council race, voters elected incumbent Lars Carlson and newly elected Adrienne Christy to seats on Council with 39% and 38% of the votes, respectively. Read Daily Planet articles below.
