COMING SOON: App for Dial-a-Ride
To make scheduling rides easier and more convenient while improving overall service efficiency, we are implementing a new Dial-a-Ride App, similar to Uber and Lyft. No more looking out the window of your home to see if your driver has arrived – you will now be able to see a live wait-time and track your driver’s progress right to your front door or other pick-up location.
Other user-friendly features will include access codes that members can provide to guests or renters, and ability to track usage in real-time, among other great features.
An email will be sent in the coming weeks with detailed instructions, including your unique owner code. You will still be able to request rides via phone, however you will need your unique access code for authorization.
COMING SOON: TMVOA Online Credit Card Processing
We are excited to announce a new and convenient Online Payment option that is anticipated to roll-out in early October - just in time for 4th quarter assessments. This option will be available to members who have signed up for receiving invoices via email. Just click the link “Pay Invoice” at the bottom of your emailed invoice and you will be able to pay your assessment securely online with a credit card.
Not signed up for email invoices? Please contact to change your settings to email. In an effort to be green, we are encouraging all homeowners to discontinue paper invoices.
TMVOA will also be accepting Discover, in addition to Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We will continue to accept checks via physical mail.
Updates: 8/15 MV Town Council Meeting
At this month’s MV Town Council meeting, Council discussed the Village Center Pond (located across from the Conference Center). In order to improve the health and overall appearance of the pond area, the Town worked closely with the Army Corps and EPA to obtain the required permit to perform clean-out and dredging. Work is scheduled to begin this October.
Council also discussed safety enhancement options to help make walking and biking along Lower San Joaquin Road, MV Boulevard and Upper Country Club Drive safer and easier. Over the years, pedestrian and bike traffic has been steadily increasing on these sections of roadway and were selected based on public feedback, traffic conditions and Town Council’s concerns about pedestrian and bikes through these corridors. If Council decides to move forward with one or more of these enhancements, they would be considered for inclusion in the 2020 budget with construction beginning as early as next summer.
