MV Restaurants Invite You to Visit
Supporting our local MV restaurants, bars and shops has never been more important. Like most service businesses across the country, the past 11-months has been a challenging time for our local businesses and their employees. Despite the difficulties, our businesses have continued to provide the highest level of service capability for our residents and guests.

Seeking Member to serve on Governing Documents Review Committee
At the TMVOA Board meeting held on Feb 8, the Board approved: (A) the reformation of the Governing Documents Review Committee from a “Board Committee” to an “Auxiliary Committee”, (B) an increase in the number of seats on the Committee from 3 to 5 seats, and (C) 3 seats shall be TMVOA Directors appointed by the TMVOA Board of Directors, 1 seat shall be appointed by the Town of Mountain Village Town Council, and 1 seat shall be selected from the TMVOA membership at-large.
The 3 TMVOA Directors serving on the Committee are Jim Royer (Residential - Class A), John Volponi (Lodging - Class B) and Jeff Proteau (Special Mountain – Class D). At yesterday’s (2/18) MV Town Council Meeting, Councilperson Peter Duprey was appointed to serve on the Committee.
The purpose of this committee is to work with TMVOA staff and legal council to review TMVOA’s governing documents to ensure they are in compliance with current state and federal regulations. The committee will also make recommendations to the Board with regards to any amendments to the governing documents that may be necessary in order to bring TMVOA’s Governing Documents into full compliance with state and federal laws.
If you are a TMVOA member and would like to be considered for the Member-at-Large seat on this Committee, please email stating your interest in serving and a brief bio for consideration. All letters of interest must be received by Mar 5, 2021 at 5 pm MST. The Committee Directors will consider submitted letters of interest and select a TMVOA member to serve on the Committee.
