Telluride Medical Center: Potential New Site
The Telluride Hospital District (THD) announced they have signed a Memo of Understanding with Genesee Properties for potential donation of a 2.6 acre parcel of land at Society Turn for development of a new medical facility.

Next steps to securing the donation, according to John Gardner, CEO of TMC, require Genesee Properties to obtain land use entitlements from San Miguel County that meet their development goals. Gardner further stated that the THD will support the efforts of Genesee Properties and would move to present design plans to San Miguel County once the land is conveyed.
