Ski Resort – Additional Chairs & Terrain Opening!
With over 6 feet of natural snow and effective early season snowmaking, the resort announced exciting news for this weekend (14-15). On Sat, Chairs 10, 11, 12 & 13 will open. On Sun, Chair 14 is scheduled to open for access to gravity-fed terrain off this chair.
Access to Prospect Bowl will be through either the east portal at the top of Chair 5 or the west portal through Ute Park. Egress out will be via Ute Park and the lift 10 area. With these lifts, high mountain restaurants will be open, including High Camp, Bon Vivant (weather permitting) and Alpino Vino for lunch (dinner to begin on Dec 20).
On Wed (18), Chairs 8 & 9 will open with all terrain off those lifts and access into the Town of Telluride. As always, lift and terrain openings are subject to change, especially with the impending snowstorm.
